Cognitive assessments are one of the two main product lines offered by CogniFit. The second product line are the CogniFit brain training programs.
These assessments aim to measure the different cognitive abilities of the user. After each evaluation, CogniFit’s revolutionary technology automatically updates your cognitive profile with clear and comprehensible results. CogniFit assessments are suitable for children aged 7 and above, to teenagers, to adults, to seniors.
Each CogniFit assessment consist of a series of online subtests, with an approximate duration of between 15 and 45 minutes. Assessments can be completed from either a computer, a tablet, or a smartphone with Internet access. When using a mobile device please install the CogniFit app for Android or iOS.
1. Each CogniFit assessment contains three main parts:
1.1 The Questionnaire
The user will be asked a series of relevant questions related to what they are trying to assess (for example, symptoms of specific pathologies, level of well-being, etc.). The user should answer each question as honestly as possible.

1.2 The Assessment Tasks
After the initial questionnaire, the user will being the assessment tasks. Each assessment task measures one or more distinct cognitive skills. The assessment will generate the overall score of the cognitive capacity based on the user’s performance in each task, measured on a series of variables—for example, accuracy or reaction times.

1.3 The Results Report
Once the questionnaire and tasks have been completed, the user can download a complete results report. The report includes information on the user’s cognitive profile, their scores in the various cognitive areas, and the results of the areas of the questionnaire. Each score is carefully explained throughout the report—including an index based on the answers to the questionnaire, as well as conclusions and recommendations for the user.

These assessments are accessible from all CogniFit platforms.
We recommend that you complete an assessment before starting your training as this will set the baseline for your training sessions.
Health professionals, teachers and researchers can purchase assessment licenses which are valid for a single-use per user.
Please note that one assessment license gives you access to one evaluation. The assessment cannot be reused, but you can buy as many as you wish.
